California! We came, we saw, we conquered....sorta...

We went to California Octobert first and stayed until the third for a wedding. We left on Friday after daddy got off work, it was supposed to be a six hour drive from here to Fallbrook where our hotel was. Right away Dillan fell asleep, we wanted him to stay up as long as he could during the day so he could nap on most of the drive there.

The drive to Fallbrook was so tiring. We tried staying up by watching dvd's while daddy drove. Dillan took a couple of naps, it wasn't too bad but so so boring. We stopped for gas and forgot that it was so high in California. The cheapest one we found before really needing gas was $3.19..yikes!

So after a couple of more hours we were finally at our hotel, yay!! Dillan crawled around on our nice king size bed that we thought was gonna be just like home...but soon realized were gonna have to share with mr. Dillan...not so comfortable...and we didn't get such great sleep. The pack & play wasn't very comfortable to him so he decided not to sleep in it, either night.

The next day we went to breakfast with Kiko, Charlie, Daniel & Danni. We ran some errands after and by the time we got back to the hotel is was time to get ready for the wedding! I got dressed then got Dillan alll snazzed up!

Here are some pictures from the wedding!

Someone's getting sleepy

And he's out!

So after all the wedding fun we went back to the hotel and immediately went to bed! We were all so tired! The next morning we still hadn't found out how to get to the beach or if was even to far to drive too. So Rick asked the guy at the front office when he went and turned in the room keys. He told us that Oceanside was just 25 minutes away. Kiko & Charlie decided to come with us since they wanted to go to the beach too. When we got to Oceanside we decided to get lunch then we headed to the pier.

Yay, we made it to the pier!
Dillan loved the water!

Daddy drew this in the sand...

Dillan, the world is your oyster!

We love the ocean!

After some time at the ocean we headed home....such a long trip home. We were exhausted but so happy to be back to our home and lower gas prices! ;)

Love ya Arizona!
