Hello!

In the hospital, waiting for our sweetheart!

Well, we've broken into the blogging world...finally! Let me introduce ourselves, I'm Sandahl mommy to Dillan, Ricky who is Dillan's daddy...and last but not least, Dillan! Dillan was born February 2010 and we fell in love from the second we saw him. He was born at 1:25 a.m. he was 6lbs 6oz and 21 inches long. I had to have a c-section at the end of a looong week in the hospital while being induced. It turned out that he has his little arm up on top of his head sort of draped on top and over the side so he wasn't able to travel down. He was esentially stuck! The nurse told me that we had two options, wait to see if he would move it or have a c-section. She gave us some time to think about it...but came back in a little while later and said that the surgery room was all ready to go and that i was put on the schedule. I was confused but immediately was ready and not a bit scared. So they wheeled me in and after all the surgery stuff (blah, blah, blah..) he was here! they handed him to daddy and daddy brought him over to me and Dillan made some little sounds and i started crying. It was the greatest thing i've seen/heard in my entire life (also I told Rick to make sure he had 10 toes & 10 fingers...it worked out :D )

So there was my sweet baby boy...#1 guy in my life. We were so awed by him. We have been the luckiest parents, he didn't cry very loudly, wake up much during the night and has been a dream to raise. So far....

We also got pictures done this first month, as a family! Dillan did like any other baby and cried a little, but overall he did good! Enjoy.
